Quickbooks Comprehensive Setup & Use Analysis

If QuickBooks does not live up to your expectations, it is usually because it is not set up properly. Proper use is virtually impossible with an improper setup. We have reviewed hundreds of accounting software setups, and unfortunately, the vast majority require major revisions, and almost none are setup to provide ownership with valuable reports and management information.

BMI'S Comprehensive Setup and Use Analysis generally takes 60 to 90 minutes and includes a comprehensive review of your Chart of Accounts, Item List, Customer/Job List, Vendor List, Employee Lists, and other related lists, as well as assets, liabilities, receivables and payables. In addition, we review your input procedures and inquire as to issues or problems you may have, and tasks you are unable to perform. Finally, we will provide you with answers to your questions, some tips, and a written copy of the analysis which will include our opinion of the value of your setup and use as it relates to both tax preparation and management.

In many cases, the analysis alone will help reduce your tax preparation costs since the amount of journal entries required to maintain your books will be reduced. We strongly suggest that any work you have us do be preceded with a Setup & Use Analysis.
